Agatha Christie
Her real name is Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller Christie Mallowan, an English writer and one of the most important names in detective literature.
Her books are extraordinarily beautiful and intriguing. When you read it, you get carried away, you definitely can't put the book down. Even, the murderer never turns out to be the person you expect. At the end of each book, she manages to surprise the reader one way or another. With his descriptions, you feel as if you are at the scene. The detective's ability to interrogate, the murderer's plans, the people caught red-handed, the characters who act and are masters of lying... All of them surprise you so much that you become a fan of Agatha Christie. Agatha Christie has written a total of 66 detective novels and 14 short stories. Apart from this, movies of many of her books have also been shot.
One of my favorite books that will always be at the top of my library is "Ten Little Niggers", sure the killer will surprise you. I want to talk a little bit about the subject of the book. It is told how 10 people who went on vacation in a newly opened hotel died. Ten people who have caused the deaths of people due to their decisions and mistakes in the past keep this a secret. These people one day receive a letter from someone named Una Nancy Owen and are invited to an ostentatious mansion on Negro Island for vacation. Every day someone dies in this mansion. You suspect someone else in each episode for the killer. At the end of the book, you are in for a great surprise because the murderer turns out to be someone you never expected. By the way, the title of the book was changed to "There Were Ten" in France. The words "nigger" were also removed from the book.
Another book I would like to recommend is "Murder Notice". An advertisement in the local newspaper excites all the residents of Chipping Cleghorn village. The advertisement states that there will be a murder in Little Paddocks on Friday, October 29 at 18:30. All the inhabitants await that day in silence. Among those found in the village is Miss Marple. When that day comes, the neighbors succumb to their curiosity and appear in Little Paddocks before 6:30 p.m. And at exactly 6:30 p.m. the lights go out and the house gets dark. When the lights are turned on, there is a wounded and a dead person. The lies and roles played out in this book will surprise you. You may even lose your trust in people. Agatha Christie surprised me again at the end of this book.
Now I want to talk about the strange events related to Agatha Christie. Agatha disappeared one day in December 1925, without saying anything about where she was going. A few days later, his car was found damaged on the shore of a lake miles away. Agatha, who appeared after this event, did not say anything about what happened. Later, various rumors emerged, such as that her husband was planning to kill her lover, and that she lost her memory due to an accident. This mystery has never been solved. Who knows, maybe the purpose behind this disappearance was to create a focal point for the mysterious stories he was going to write.
The author died on January 12, 1976. Her body is in St., near Wallingford. She was cremated in the church of Mary's Cholsey.
